    I think it's more anticipation for new living world season 3 (Guild Wars 2 story) that is set to release on the 26th. It's not an expansion, just extension of the currently story line they've been working on for the past 8 or 9 months or so which will require GW2 HoT to play.

  I got this email earlier this morning and breathed a sigh of relief. I've been waiting ages for a price drop and the recent EB Games sale just wasn't enough for me. I'll be jumping on this as soon as I get home tonight!! Sadly existing users were not catered when it came to adding the expansion as ArenaNet considered this to be a stand alone purchase as it INCLUDES the original game. This price makes it more like the expansion price I was expecting from the start.

  Its a really good PVP game, combat system is really good with awesome class design. But it sucks on balance.
  And the story (main scenario)is poor especially in this expansion as well as how they deliver the lore - by web article and note pieces that you need to find in game.
  Do make mistake, the base game is good than they completely lost their touch in expansion.
  The sale may due to the Living Story Season 3 is coming out, it was good on last 2 seasons.

  I have played GW2 quite a bit..then left before HoT dropped.
  Now with Legion down the corner, am tossing between the two. GW2 when I played need quite bit of time investment for getting gear. WoW now..is easy beasy bee now. So for the 1 hr gaming after work… hmm confused….rambling….need Friday!
