Depends on the LED's you buy. Philips MR16 don't seem that fussy about drivers.
Can someone please explain what exactly this is?
Thats why I posted it here, waiting for the right department to explain:)
As far as I can tell, it is a downlight kit, that you can install in the ceiling. It has a metal cage on the top, which meant to be a safety feature for potential fire hazard. It uses 35w halogen MR16 downlight bulb.

You'd never work it out from the OP's ridiculously lazy copy/paste.
It is cheap and nasty "sealed" 35W halogen downlight kit. The design dates back to the 1990's so I know exactly what it is just by looking at it.
The chrome plated front clips onto a steel frame in the ceiling. There is a gasket that "kind-of" seals the front to the ceiling which stops moisture getting into the fixture (not that would harm it in any way).
Above the ceiling it has a metal "hood" which is basically a metal mesh in the shape of a can of baked beans.
You get a electronic transformer and 35W halogen lamp.
Theoretically you could put this inside the shower area or over vanity as it is "sealed".
An MR16 LED in such a device would probably overheat due to poor airflow. But bathroom lights aren't left on for long periods so it wouldn't matter.
There are better ways to illuminate bathrooms than downlights - in fact it's pretty much the worst way of illuminating such a space since the objective is to see the vertical human body surfaces, not the top of your head.
Harsh but informative. A pointless product.
llama!! You are a sick informative c**t
Well, thanks! Nobody has ever called me 'informative' before!
@llama:
What about c**t?
Certainly, and quite often also in combination with sick.
there is much better product if you can find stocks near to you..

Anyone know if the driver included drives a LED light? If so, it would be cheaper to buy this and some MR16 LED bulbs.
