apparently the 'fake' ones have fan noise but the oem ones dont have 'em.
amazon ones have never had any reported issues as such yet.

The Amazon one comes with a fast charging power adaptor which was left out of the Australian release. I find it handy to have another fast charging adaptor to keep one at work and one at home.
So it comes with a fast charging power adaptor US model then (wrong pins for use in Australia)?
I guess so if its the first thing you're buying from overseas. Most ozbargainers I think would have a few of these lying around with their eneloops and torches. :)

You have to use your existing charger if you get the Australian one while the Amazon one gives you a spare to keep at work\home. It would cost more than $11 to buy another fast charging adapter.
Well you will need to also add the cost of a USA to AUS adapter, so is it really worth it
A genuine Samsung fast charger in Australia costs about $30 so yes I think it is.
Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like you can get it cheaper in eBay? I found some selling around $35-$40 and they are Australian seller.
