Get Minecraft:Story Mode Episode 1 for free.

Only for Windows 10 devices and the US apparently (it worked fine for me without but that may vary) - that at least can be circumvented with a VPN connection set to a US server.

    On a VPN, california gateway. Shows as free but asks for payment when I try to download

  Worked like a charm, I opened up the deal link on my WINDOWS 10 SURFACE PRO, it automatically opened up the windows store app once I clicked the link and I could purchase the first episode for free.

  for those who can't download, you don't need VPN.
  just change your region in windows and your Microsoft store will change also.
