Good whisky for the price. I'd recommend it for any newbies wanting to get into an easy to drink single malt.
Great price. Currently $70 at Vintage Cellars. Thanks OP.
After Ardbeg, this tastes like cordial!
Mmm cordial
(I meant that in the nicest possible way, I'm just finding that my taste is scotch has changed quite a bit since I started drinking it. I'm finding the Dalwhinnie isn't as 'charismatic' as Ardbeg.)
I'm fully aware that these are in 2 different classes. This drop is the smoothest scotch I think you'll find at this pricepoint.
Once you try the peaty whiskies its hard to go back. I love Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig and the way the aromas linger for so long.
Quite nice, mild, and subtle.
It's not going to knock your socks off, but this is definitely much better than most others around the $60-70 mark.
At $65 is a good dram.
Not worth it at a more normal price.
Possibly the dimple 15 at $55 is a better option
In Thailand this whisky is $15
$65 at DM for DM members!
You sure the label in Thailand didn't say Dahlwhinny?
Best price I have seen for this all year.
I know everyone has a different taste, but any comments on how does it compare to the 12 yo Glenfiddich ($55)
