Looks like a cool platformer. Not happy about these sites needing phone number verification though - get enough telemarketing calls already as it is!

  • Mate, how much are you paying for Coke?

    • $1.80 isn't uncommon for cans of Coke from what I see

      • What about 8 balls?

  • I can't believe this is true..

    About the Game

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood brings football to life in stunning detail so fans can experience the emotion of the sport like never before. Witness the intensity of crowds chanting and cheering like on match day, and listen to commentators guide fans through the story of the game with dynamic match presentation. For the first time ever, all 22 players on the pitch are connected with emotional intelligence – now players will react to opponents and teammates within the context, and relative to the narrative of the match.

Next-generation visuals put fans on living pitches with grass that wears and tears as the match progresses. Authentic player visuals make players lean, athletic, and true to their real-life appearance. Player control heightens the responsiveness of player movement, gives athletes more control and personality on the ball, and makes man-to-man battles more rewarding than ever before.

Football is the greatest drama on earth and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood puts fans centre stage, allowing them to feel the emotion and intensity of the world's greatest sport.

From memory it was only the last paragraph or so that was actually about the game! They've got to get better at their cut and paste.

Game seems to get much higher ratings from users than from most of the critics.

    • It wouldn't surprise me though; most games add parts from popular games (like shoving Minecraft into Fallout 4, eh?) so ramming some Football into a platformer wouldn't surprise me anymore.

    Cheaper here: http://www.cdkeys.com/xbox-live/games/max-the-curse-of-broth…

I guess that makes this not a deal

    • You're looking at the wrong item dude - that's the X360 version.

CD Keys has the XB1 version also, but it's AUD$3.50. Both good prices, but this is obviously the cheapest option.

      • I was just taking the piss, but yes I have a 360 so I usually make that mistake

TBH I liked the game a Nd place did through to the end. It was the first game I played through on the 360 after owning it for 3 years (didn't play at all in the first 2). It's a solid platform we with a twist, if I had one is a up with it I would say that as a puzzle (if you can use that term) platformer some of the solutions are only not obvious because you don't realise that something is possible (eg. Moving boxes etc).apart from that issue cominvback up a couple of times I thought it was great, esp for a buck 70
