I got this back when they were us$6.
Better than cardboard, but for some reason they focus very close, and no adjustment. I had to use +4 reading glasses with it.
It makes no sense. Why not just set the focal distance to 2m - infinity?

Otherwise good for the price. Best used with large-screen phones.

Example of gadget that you buy and use within 2,3 weeks then just collecting dust in the drawer…

    • You get dust in your drawer?

  • works well with big phones. got me 2 when they were around 6-7 AUD. can't remember where but does the job.

  • BTW, measured the FoV on these.
With my big 5.7" screen, its a little narrower than screen width = viewing distance, ie. 53 degrees wide.
Combined of course, one eye sees less.
That's great for watching movies, but a bit narrow for immersive VR.
