Price for a new Yaris?

I have no idea about car prices but I am thinking about getting a new Yaris auto. On Toyata's website they are running this special for $17,990 drive away. Is this a good deal or is this the normal everyday price?

My friends sister bought a vw polo auto for the 17k mark much much better than the yaris. And I'm a yaris owner. Hatchback that is

    OP mentioned that they required an Automatic. According to your link, the $15,990 is for manual. The cheapest auto on that same list is the price that OP has asked about… $17,990
