  • One of best games on ps4. Amazing graphics, gameplay and storyline

Wish they'd just put the season pass/DLC on special. That's what I need. :P

Decent game, it's what I got a PS4 for. Bat-tank sections are trash and controller-breaking-worthy on some of the Riddler missions, but aside from that, a good end to the trilogy. Not bad for 25 bucks.

    • I agree, i got it as a gift and after playing the first 2 games it is really frustrating to be stuck on levels driving around the batmobile (especially the Ridller missions)

Being quite new to PS4 gaming, how do Season Passes work? Especially for older games like this? Am I better off buying skins individually or paying for the Season Pass?

      • A Season Pass is the cheapest way to get all DLC. If it's ever on sale.

I've only ever bought one season pass, and did so for the launch of the game. I've regretted it ever since, considering all the DLC was available separately and much, much cheaper down the line.

In the case of Batman however, there's some stuff still exclusive to the season pass, and in general, still cheaper to get it all in bulk than piece by piece. Not sure how much cheaper, but eh.

If you want to know for sure, look at what's included in the season pass and see if it's all stuff you want. If some of it isn't, just go and add up the individual stuff you want. See how it works out.

In my case, I already bought the Batgirl DLC, but nothing else. I have all the unlockable skins and the free ones too. I would like the rest, but not enough to pay full price. Honestly expected a GOTY edition of the game by now too.

A goty edition will be released soon - is available to pre order on ebgames website

        • @Apoca89: Huh, so there is. Cool.

By next year it might even be cheap enough to be worth buying, haha.

@Selenium: yeah. I just got the premium edition here - same thing really (half price of what the goty edition will probably be)

I just bought the premium edn last night and all the DLCs became free to download.

        • Well yeah, I gather that's the point.

It's a good deal for those who don't already own the game.

  • so this I'm assuming is the third game in the series, if I just played this, would I be able to follow the storyline etc? or is it recommended to play the first two games?

    • +1

You don't have to play the first two to understand what's going on. But it's best to because the first two really set up the third and have really great story telling. That's how I played them and they really stand the test of time.

Also, they'll be things you can do in the third game that you can't do in the first two so it's best to start from the first game.

      • Gahhhh! just checked the ps store and realised the first two batman are only available for ps3 which i don't have, the only batman available on the ps store for ps4 is the last one, blahhhh

        • Look for the updated pack (I think it's called return to Arkham) that's on the way. Remakes of the original 2 on the ps4.

        • Yeah, I've got Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on PC, Arkham Knight on PS4.

"Return to Arkham" should be released soon but check out the previews for it first. Apparently the textures look worse in the remake…
