I’ve hit peak procrastination. Instead of doing work that needs to be done, I’ve convinced myself I need to post this on OzBargain. Now. Like right now. I’ve even done some research to give you guys some background info on the case and sleeves. Any questions, just ask, since you know, that’ll be another excuse to put off work for a little longer.

STM Cape iPad Air Case (Both Black and Gray Available)

These prices are super cheap for really good quality stuff. My work provided this STM case for my iPad Air and paid around $60 for it and it has been awesome. I’ve linked the amazon review below which notes it costs US$39.86 (AU$52). The average Amazon user review rating is 4.4/5 Stars. So for $1.49 it’s cheaper than a Snickers bar, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say it could be a more satisfying purchase.

Acme Made 11" and 15" MacBook Air/15" Skinny Sleeve

Regarding the Acme sleeves, I’m a huge fan of these. I’ve used one daily for the last year with my work 13” Macbook Air and it has been perfect. It doesn’t take up too much room in my bag, looks cool and continues to protect my Macbook Air after lots of spills. My wife got one of the 12” Macbooks from this deal and the 11” Acme sleeve fits it perfectly (due to the bezel on the 12” Macbook being smaller than the 11” Macbook Air). I’ve also linked the Amazon review below which notes it costs US$44.09 (AU$57.67). The average Amazon user review rating is 4.6/5 Stars. So in this 'case', for $1.79 it’s cheaper than a go at one of those claw skill tester machines and a lot more useful than a 1 in 800 chance of winning

    Good question Dunky. I recommend the 13" Acme Case and just as I was writing this it sold out, unfortunately. There are some cheap samsonite ones @ COTD. I'll just find them for you.

    I've found my wife's Acme Made gray with pink band 13" sleeve she had for her 13" MacBook Air before she upgraded to the 12" Macbook. The case still looks new. If you PM me your address I'll post it to you :)

    I actually want a case with hard edges, because I have dropped my laptop before, and destroyed the screen because it landed on the edge. Never seen those before though.

  I bought some lovely STM products from Catch Of The Day.

  I have really become a fan of STM after buying several of their regular 7 inch Jacket cases for a song. If I had any Apple products I would have picked these up too (they have been at this price a couple of times before in recent weeks). ACME MADE also deliver the goods.

  COTD had the air covers down to a dollar a few weeks back. Pretty decent even up to 5 bucks. Slim and light. No magnets, close/ catch system is not ideal for someone who would open and close the iPad often.

  The MacBook pro dimensions 358.9x247.1x18
  Yoga 460 338x236x19 mm so not a good fit, would move around in the sleeve.

  Beware the STM ip[ad air cases frizz up pretty quick and the stitching comes apart. Happened twice to me.
