270x Finish Quantum Powerball with Baking Soda Dishwashing Caps - $64.80 + $9.95 Postage (27c Per Tablet) @ COTD

70

Pretty sure this is a great price for the powerball tablets. If not then I've done my math wrong :(

Woolies are usually around >70c per tablet, and around 40c per tablet on special.

Phew, I thought it was Pokèball for a sec there…

  • <25c / tablet is a good price.

  • Great when combined with bath salts for that friday night fix

  • 24c per tablet (assuming $9.95 postage) if you get the Finish Max In One (220 tabs) https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/2-x-finish-max-in-o…

Those tablets are rubbish though (at least according to Choice)

      • You have a copy of the Choice report nexus4?

I wasn't too impressed with the Max In One.

        • TBH I've been using it for a few months and have been quite happy, definitely better than the Earth Choice powder I was using before, which actually scores higher at 55%.

        • @webified:

          Thanks champ!

No rinse aid? WTF are Choice on about?

          Reading the reviews - http://www.finishdishwashing.com/products/detergents/max-in-…

I note that the reviews are for the international sites, but I had issues with max in 1 leaving residue on anything other than a high temp wash. Never had that issue with any other tablet/detergent.

        • According to Choice the top 5 tablets in order of performance are:

Earth Choice All in 1 auto dish tablets
          Eco Store Auto dishwasher tablets
Coles Ultra Plus Dishwash power pods 20 pods
Finish Powerball quantum max with baking soda
          Fairy Platinum dishwasher tabs

        • @nexus4:

I can confirm that the fairy platinum is excellent.

Ideally below 15 cents is a good deal. Below 10 cents is a great deal. Below is one example - 8 ish cents per tablet.

Not bad but almost as cheap at Chemist Warehouse and you don't have to buy like 1.5 year's worth: http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/76497/Finish-Quantum-…

    • Agreed; Reject Shop is 26.3c/tablet.
      ($10 for 38)

  • I've been picking up packs of 30 Coles Ultra 6 in 1 tabs for $5 for ages now. The dishes are always clean, and the inside of the dishwasher looks just like it did the day we bought it. I rinse out the filter occasionally, but that's it.

    So what am I missing?
