It is a good game. I'm glad I played it. No regrets on the purchase.
Not perfect though. Story was weak and undeveloped. Fights got easy towards the end, after you'd levelled up a bit.
But it's a solid game. Lots of fun. At $29 it's a bargain.

It's a RPG open world game like Arkham Knight (another awesome game).
Tempted to get it, but haven't finished Arkham Knight yet, nor Arkham Origins…
Hoarders unite! haha.. Mad Max was USD17 (approximately AUD23) on US PSN 2 weeks ago so there's definitely room for the digital version to drop further. I bought the XBONE version of Mad Max for AUD55 and haven't regretted it one bit. It's now selling for $30 at CEX so no rush.
This game is cheaper on PSN store $26, but if u usually resell or trade in the target price might be better
alot of people prefer a physical copy though myself included
This game is insane. Sort of like Just Cause 2, it feels like sorta of a semi-sleeper hit in terms of the fact that its super-fun, expansive, and rewarding but no-one really talks about it.

Its by the same guys who wrote Just Cause. Hence why the game mechanics are similar. Mad Max is awesome game, but Just Cause 3 plays a little bit better with the tethering, unlimited paragliding and wingsuit (ok.. its bloody fun). Mad Max has more Melee stuff than weapons and plays a bit closer to Sleeping dogs in that way.

Was $30 (XB1) at my local target (Erina, Central Coast) in very limit amount (~2), didn't pick it up tho (trying to stay digital).
Was at Airport West, and grabbed a X1 copy. Refused to install on my xbox, went back to target and swapped for another. Still refuses to install on my X1, I'm guessing they might have a faulty batch there…. : (
This game was great and got a bit of a bad wrap when it came out. $29 is a great deal!
