You can get grips on eBay for $2

    • Hi HarryL, yeap we've always had this mentioned.
However, from our personal experience having tried countless other grips (many from eBay), the quality is actually very different. Some end up being more slippery and actually do not stay on easily. Although obviously we can't speak for all of them, but the Grip-iTs are a very different product altogether offering you the best grip and protection for the thumbsticks :)

    • Go right ahead and buy those ebay ones then after you've come to realize there crap come back here and buy some real grips.

    • I seriously wish we would stop negging rep deals that have got actual quality products. GripIt have a long, albeit small, history here on OzBargain and they've been nothing but friendly, helpful, cheap and a pleasure to deal with. You're just looking for a reason to neg this deal without doing any prior research. GripIt have good quality products unlike the cheap $2 ones at Ebay. And instead of waiting a month to get them from China, get them delivered within a few days. One of my four grips had a manufacturing fault and GripIt sent me four new ones at no cost. I don't see that sort of service from Ebay.

      • +1

Sorry but that's not true. I bought a bunch of these and none of them fit properly on any of my dualshock controllers. All had manufacturing faults. Why would I bother getting these when the supposedly "cheap" ones I purchased on ebay were consistently high quality?? I think what people don't get is that even $2 ones on eBay ARE high quality - it is simply Grip-IT that overcharges for what costs them cents to produce in the first place!!!

        • Hi Phsyke, just replied to your comment below but thought I'd copy and paste my response here as well:
Here to help! Can you please PM me your order details?
Also, are you sure it is the Grip-iTs that you are referring to? Reason I'm asking is because you mentioned that they "do not fit" and "come off easily" (in your comment below), both of which are completely opposite to what the product is meant to be - therefore my concern.
The grips are made to fit very snugly, and if installed properly should definitely not come off during gameplay (however intense it might be).

        • Sorry but that's not true.

So you're calling me a liar. If you had bothered to message the rep/site, you would have found they would have sent you replacements out without question.

        • @Dagmar: My apologies, I mean this particular comment is not true: "GripIt have good quality products unlike the cheap $2 ones at Ebay"

My point wasn't regarding getting the faulty ones replaced - my point is that these are also cheap $2 in terms of manufacturing and that in my experience I have found the grips on ebay with the nubs on them to be far superior. Again, this is just my experience in having used both, I have no dog in this race except for people to purchase controller grips that they are happy with.

Sorry if you feel personally attacked :s

If you get your mind blown by stickers to put on the thumbstick of your video game controller, you probably need to leave your mum's basement more often.

    • Haha jjcf, you certainly made me laugh. You'd be surprise at how many customisation options there are for all the gaming systems, and many people enjoy the fact that their controller or console does not look "stock standard". Everyone has different preferences though and obviously it is very subjective.

Quick side note for all: this OZB post is actually for controller thumbstick covers/grips, the PS4 stickers are an additional offer for people who spend more than AUD20, have amended the post to make it more obvious.

I purchased these last time. They're GREAT! I no longer get sore thumbs when playing. It would be awesome if you guys made these to fit Wii U and PS3 controllers.

    • +1

Thanks for the support quadcaster :) It really means a lot. They actually fit the PS3 (albeit a very tight fit). We've actually had customers do some DIY to make it fit the Wii U, but it's definitely something many request and we'll certainly consider!

Just bought some more. Thanks again :)

          Thanks quadcaster!!

  • Nice.. I have been wanting to get these off amazon and didn't realise Grip-It had a rep in Australia. A 62-cent discount compared to the amazon price for a 4-pack (AUD13 delivered via Amazon). Any chance you might be able to provide a bigger discount?

    • Hi Innamura, thanks for dropping by! As much as we'd love to provide a bigger discount, we try to keep a healthy margin so we can continue to operate successfully here in Australia, hope you understand :)

      • +1

No worries, commercial viability's an important part of any business. Thought I would ask just in case.

        • Yes it certainly is, thanks for your understanding Innamura! Appreciate your support.

@gripitaustralia: Done, purchased a six pack. Grip-it's number one ranking in the thumb grip market has me really interested. Looking forward to using your product. I bought some Orbs and love them so hopefully i will be blown away by the Grip-its.

        • @Innamura: Many thanks Innamura!

  • Any plans for 3DS circle pad and C-stick? If anything needs extra grip, those do.

    • Not at the moment unfortunately, we've definitely had heaps of requests for it so might be something for the future!

Bought some a year ago. Have never looked back. Even bought some sticker decals later on.

    • CHAMPION. Thanks as always Dagmar for your support!

  • I can recommend these - they're incredibly grippy.

I bought a set for my DS4 to get through some sweaty-palmed Bloodborne sessions.

    • That's great to hear Munkeyalan! Thanks for the positive feedback, we're glad you like them!

I'm sorry but I just had to come on to say that these grips suck. I bought about 8 during the last sale and not only do they not fit onto the sticks properly, the front part that supposedly "grips" is actually quite crap, and in fact, due to the front being a pattern rather than little dots, the things come off in the middle of heated gaming ruining the entire point of them. They should be grippy but not so grippy that they come off quite easily!

Not only that, but they were extremely overpriced for what they are. I highly, highly, HIGHLY reocmmend to get these type of grips instead:
    https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51hWSp0Sn1L.AC_UL320_SR256,320.jpg <—- random google image

These type cost me around $8 aud for 8 of them on ebay and they are a far superior experience in my opinion than these overpriced and inferior versions, no matter what the Grip-IT guys try to tell you. For those who are dubious, I hope you at least get a chance to try both before purchasing either.

    • Hi Phsyke, oh no! Hope I can help. Can you please PM me your order details?
Also, are you sure it is the Grip-iTs that you are referring to? Reason I'm asking is because you mentioned that they "do not fit" and "come off easily", both of which are completely opposite to what the product is meant to be - therefore my concern.

Im a convert and wont use a controller without one on the Xbone! Ive never suffered from Phsykes issues above and may try the other ones pointed out. I find them way more comfortable that the stock stick. Good service and good product - pricey for what it is but it works well.

    • Thanks pw2002au, it's great to hear that you had a good experience!

  • will this fit the xbox elite controller?..

    • Hi timhobart! We actually haven't had a chance to try them out on the Elite yet sadly! So can't give you a definitive answer. Having said that, if you are willing to give them a go and find that they don't fit, you are free to return them for a full refund.

    • They fit fine - using one on there now. Mind you I think the grips on the elite are slightly above the generic controllers out there already.

      • thanks..

      • Thanks pw2002au! :)

I tried the eBay cheapies first, rubbish, then tried these. I don't even notice them or the sticks anymore which is exactly why they are great. Without them, the sticks would slip and were getting chipped away. Now I just game and never even think about the controller because it just works.

    Highly recommend.

    • that's so good to hear cymon, glad that you are having a great experience with them!! thanks for dropping by!
