Anyone got a source on this yet? I'd love to get a Redmi Note 3 but the lack of B28 is a bit of a bummer. Wondering if anyone knows of any sites yet pimping or soon to be pimping the B28 model?

There will be no B28 support.
Only a handful of countries use B28:
Australia / NZ
Japan
Panama
Papua New Guinea
TaiwanUnfortunately all these are pretty small markets so it is not worth paying the licensing fees to implement B28.
InFocus M530 might be your best bet.. It was a phone made for Taiwanese markets.
For me, Im waiting for Motorola G 2016 when it comes out here. Verge gave it a scathing review though. I'm sure it will be overpriced though… but you will get B28.

Do you have any insider information on whether a 3GB RAM version will ever be available?
Looks to be my ideal phone, on paper. Only thing lacking is NFC but only useful thing I can think of for NFC is if I get a security key like a Yubikey Neo.
Android Pay and other banking apps is another use for NFC.
Seems to come in only the 2GB RAM, 16GB version. Does anyone know if the 3GB/32GB one will also be available?
Alternatively, I know you can use a memory card with the 16GB one so is 2GB rather than 3GB RAM likely to make a lot of difference?
