      Me either… I will say to pick up the DLC for a few extra bucks so you can get vortex grenade. Makes it feel a little bit more like dead nations flares\grenades that kill en mass.

  Was really excited about this game and preordered it for $20 thinking it would be similar to Dead Nation or (even better) Helldivers. The story was pretty bland and gameplay was repetitive. The multiplayer also wasn't as engaging as Helldivers, where cooperation really mattered. A bit unfortunate as I had high hopes of being sucked into this but stopped playing after 2 hours..

    The story is forgettable I'll give you that but I couldn't disagree more about the gameplay. It's fast, it's frantic and the combat is really satisfying. The gameplay is no more repetitive than Helldivers. In fact, I'd say Alienation has more reasons to keep playing with multiple classes with unique abilities to level, the 12 slot weapon grind (I still can't find a 12 slot primary/secondary!) and with the latest update, working your way up the leagues.

    I don't think you really have a case against the multiplayer having only played the game for 2 hours. That'd be like doing a mission in Helldivers on 'A Dive in the Park' difficulty. Try doing the Ark ship on Legend difficulty and then tell me the multiplayer isn't engaging enough and that cooperation doesn't matter!
