Not mechanical. The keys are concave and are soft to type. Like laptop keyboard.
The keys are concave
Pretty much all desktop keyboards (yep, even mechanical ones) have concave key tops.
Like laptop keyboard
Strange comment. The MX800 is nothing like a laptop keyboard at all.

you have obviously never seen or used one then……. the k800 im currently typing on is exactly like my keyboard on my laptop…. just the laptop is not backlit
@nosdan: I second that. I've owned this set before and they are quite spongey on the keys (not similar to Macbook Pros, but very similar in feel to old-school Lenovo/Samsung laptops for sure)

I was actually more thinking about the form factor and overall "design" not being the same as a laptop.
Now that you mention it, I can see what you mean re: MX800 & K800 being a bit "laptop style" in general appearance of the keys. As I typed my initial comment, I was looking directly at my HP laptop which has a Chiclet keyboard, so I guessed that most people could consider that a laptop keyboard was a Chiclet style (dead flat) with the extremely small amount of vertical movement.
These new Logitechs are termed "PerfectStroke" and have 3.2mm travel, which is about the same as a conventional desktop keyboard. A typical laptop keyboard is probably about half that travel. The Logitechs use a scissors activation like laptops so you are right - it's more like a laptop keyboard than a mechanical one.
Not a good deal,, the price is high , and the keyboard is normal one
Can you find a cheaper price…?
you get what you pay for. over a year ago i bought my set at JB-HI-FI for $99 still going strong. Its comfortable, the mouse is big (rare) and it dosent feel cheap
The Performance MX mouse is a pretty good high end mouse. It can be used either as a corded or wireless mouse, and it comes with an Eneloop.
Though not as well built as the Logitech MX Master and missing quite a few cool features, it alone is worth perhaps $60-70.
Bluetooth?
no
thanks op - just got one
This is my absolute favourite keyboard, and is usually quite expensive just by itself.
My Performance MX felt good but lags alot when low on battery, which was often and annoying.
Managed to pricematch @ Officeworks, thanks OP!
Mechanical keyboard?
