  • A naive question, will these fit a 2001 corolla?

    • Using the parts guide it says 2001 Corolla refills are 6.5mm

  • How do you figure out what type your original blades are?

    • Both should fit. It's just the design of the rubber, the fitment is the same.

    • Go to the Supercheapauto menus, look for the Parts Guide link. when it shows up start with Toyota etc.
The wipers you need can likely be bought from there.
I hope that was helpful. But some people will never have been to their website.

  • my 2004ncorolla is both 8.5 (for the 24 inch driver side blade) and 6.5 for the shorter passenger side blade.

Cant fit on my corolla 2010?

  • Whats the difference btw Original, Twin, Multi Blade??

    • ditto, and is silicon a good choice.

      • Squeaky when windscreen is a little dry or when there is only drizzle. As a consolation silicon ones last longer.

        Stick with rubber.

    • I think it's just the design of the rubber blade.

Buy 25 packs with AMEX card and you will be looking at $3.2/pack!

That might make it an amphibian.

Alas… Nothing else i need from SCA, maybe some brake oil and wipers.. :'(

I always purchase extra headlight fluid. Saved me big $$$ in avoidable repairs doing it myself. So easy too. Here's how…

        • awesome, thanks for link. Have been spending way too much $$$ on paying others to lubricate my ball joints.

  • Parts guide not working :(

      probably overwhelmed with corolla searches

These seem to be on sale every other week. Do yourselves a favour and do not buy this brand of wiper. I did last time they had a sale and they are terrible. After the first rain we had, I removed them the same day and replaced with the Tridon brand wipers. These screech across the window terribly and even trying an application of RainX didn't help the problem at all. Save money by buying a better brand the first time around.

I agree, I use Tridon FlexBlade on my Mazda3 and I can't imagine going back to my stock wipers. I've had them for over a year now without issues. This includes almost daily abuse from the windscreen washer since the car stays outside and my area is very dusty due to nearby construction. Additionally, they look very sleek compared to some stock arm designs. :)

      They're $20 each… EACH!

yep had these and they're terrible. Went to Bursons after and got myself Bosch wipers, even the Triton ones aren't that great.

Another warning not to get these!

As already mentioned, these screech across the windscreen and you will be taking them straight off again and heading back to SCA with receipt in hand for a refund!

I put my 5 year Bosch blades back on and they still work much better than the SCA wipers.

    • I've always been using Bosch wipers. You can get them from eBay with codes, or spare box which has sale every now and then.

What's the differences between twin edge and multi edge? Aside from the obvious # of edges.. but what are the pros/cons of them?

  • Are the Kmart ones any better/worse in performance?

    • +1

I got a set from K-Mart for like 10$ for my Volkswagen Golf. It was some 'Premium' set. Silicon, and i think theyre were 24" but adjustable to any size and are compatible with the 6.5/8..5mm widths. they work beautifully so I see no problem with them. no sounds/ no streaks. Clear as day when they wipe.

note; these arn't the cheapest ones you get in kmart. it was a slightly 'better' brand. ( I think there's really only 2 selections.)

      • That would probably be Aunger, good budget option. Pity they only go up to 24" though (from all the stores I've looked at, also in Big W and Autobarn)

    • Talking on quality; Costco also sells Goodyear (complete wiper) which is about $12 (and goes up to 24").

  • Are these expired some day like condoms? Just curious.

    • Yes they are dangerous in wet conditions and degrade over time leading to possible leakage.

      • and possibly life long disasters like STIs & children

        • but STIs are awesome. You need 22" and 16" if you already have an STI.

      • Every word is informative, until "leakage"…

    • Multiblade is like ribbed for her pleasure.

  • And last time when I was doing my car service, the staffs charged me $40 for them…

  • I was able to fit one piece out of the 'SCA Wiper Refills - Single Edge, Dual, Suits 6.5 & 8.5mm, 2 Pack' to BMW X3 E83 rear wiper, the 6.5mm edge slots into the original wiper pretty snugly. Needs a bit of persistence though. So rear wiper sorted for $2. Thanks OP.
