Hi all.
I'm looking for a new headset for my computer as the mic on my current one stopped working (5 year old Arctic Sound P301!). It has to have volume and microphone (mute) controls. My budget is around $60.
So far I've been looking at the Corsair HS30 and the Logitech G230. I did have a look at the Kingston HyperX Cloud Core, however it didn't have any volume or mic controls.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations it would be much appreciated!

I've had some friends that had not-so-good experiences with Turtle Beaches, but what do you think about them? I'll put it down as a possible option since it's not too far outside my budget.
Personally, I haven't had any issues with Turtle Beach headsets for the console only (not PC though as I haven't use it for the PC). I've had more issues with Logitech headphones when they stop working or partly work after owning them for a year or less and I've been using them for just talking on Skype nothing else.
Ah interesting then. I'll keep that in mind.
i have a Logitech H390 that I bought for about $25 at JBhifi, its worth at least $50. I don't even use it. It's just in a box brand new virtually,

I pretty much enjoy it..Love the fact it also works with my iPod…Has the volume controls n such..plus works with consoles..All excellent..for a pretty budget headset.
