yeah i don't quite understand that mentality too. Its just a little label added to the box. Everything else is still the same, except your paying less for it, lol
It will work on ALL ps3's. Games aren't limited by regions. Only DVDS/Blurays.

Also note that bluray titles from thehut are the correct region for Australian PS3s and bluray players (Region B).

Personally, I care about the box art because I stack my games and honestly, these just ruin the bunch because they are terribly ugly. Having said that, this is ozbargain and not an art website so this deserves my positive vote.

Some JB's accept overseas games, depends who you get. Sometimes EB don't even scan the games in at the time you trade.
I was able to trade in 3 UK PAL games at JB for ME2 no worries.
