Papa Giuseppi's Bakehouse Crust Bbq Chicken Pizza 460g $3.99 (1/2 price), Avocado "The Odd Bunch" 1kg $3.5 @ Woolworths

Papa Giuseppi's Bakehouse Crust Bbq Chicken 460g $3.99 (Was $7.99)
Avocado "The Odd Bunch" 1kg punnet $3.5 (Was $4.5)

Two WW deals, the Papa Guiseppi's BBq chicken pizza is currently half price, and wasn't mentioned in the catalogue. Some ozbargain reviews on it here, compares pretty well against Dr Oetker.

Also a decent enough price on Avocados, a 1kg punnet for $3.5. There's 7 smallish avos in the picture on the WW website, so should be similar to TA's 5 for $3.69 @ IGA deal. Note that this is "the odd bunch," so the shapes of the avocados won't be perfect.

Love Papa G's - the bakehouse crust are the best frozen 'thick crust' style pizza you can buy in Aus.

    • They're even better than Domino pizza.

I didn't think good supermarket pizza existed, I might have to give this a shot :)

You clearly haven't tried Dr Oetker

Ooooh that looks so good in photos, might pick some up :)

    • True words, mate.

Agreed on every point. Was truly surprised at just how good they are. Always look out for them when they are on special.

    • Yeah this pizza is excellent.

  • I don't see that price on the website, is it certain regions only?

  • I like the taste of these though like most frozen pizzas there are bugger all toppings and sometimes the moisture frozen inside can make the topping a bit too wet. I had one come out of the oven like a lake.

Hi mate, try to preheat your oven, use the middle tray or gitter and try to choose a lower temperature, cooking the pizza for a longer time. That should do the trick.

      • Cheers! Ill try lowering temp, i do the rest. It is a crap oven to be frank.

  • Best frozen pizza ever! It's so thick!

    • Pizza crust and toppings are one those things that you pay more for for less.

Thin and crispy wood fired oven pizza > thick crust pizza.

        I like thick.

That's what all the ladies say.

  • I just ate one, and I'd have to say it tasted nice and was easily worth the $3.99 purchase price.

It has the Dr Oetker logo on the box? Why is that?

EDIT: Ah I see, in 2011 Dr Oetker acquired Papa Giuseppi's
