Bought mine for $25 from woolies when they had 50% off last year.

Its an ok toothbrush but i find it looses charge/brushing power after 3 cycles.

      I think yours is faulty.

My one lasts about a week, 2mins twice a day.

      • it can last near to a week, but the brushing power becomes weaker

        • I notice it after about 3-5 days, but still a decent clean after 5.

        • @JB1:

I notice at least a 50% reduction in brushing power from freshly charged to 3 days after charge.

You may be thinking of the cheaper Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean which is around $49 RRP. I have that too and it loses its charge very quickly. This post is for the professional care 500.

      • no its the Oral-B ProfessionalCare 500

        Just checked the packaging

How does this compare to the $20 toothbrush that was in Coles and Woolies a few weeks ago?

    • +1

This has 3D action rotating aswell as pulsating and nimh instead of nicad batteries, the former doesn't like deep discharges.

      • Does it have half/slow speed?

I got the the $20 one but the boss finds it too aggressive.

        • Only one speed

  • i already have the oral b vitality precision. not sure if worth the upgrade

  • I got one from COTD for $39 and I find it much better than the Vitality it replaced, as the 3D action is considered to be a minimum requirement if you are in the market for an electric toothbrush.

  • Bought One, thanks
