Do you make the apps you post on Ozbargain?
        Just wondering about your association

Ok I downloaded it to review it for you.

App opens and your immediately thrown into a screen of 4 random counting circles.
-suggestion, open on a menu to setup what needs to be counted.

Finally after pressing half the screen to see what each circle counting number does, i find the hidden menu.
-suggestion, display what the circles are (yes they are pretty, and is it possible they could they be a different shape? Theme? Etc..)

I Found It!! (Button mash, screen tap hidden Menu)
I find the Ozbargain detailed Themes!
First one I try, "midnight black" takes me to a commercial at high volume for some shit I don't care about (but makes you money, so I don't care) then I see I was already in midnight black theme from the get go..
-suggestion, asterisks the theme selection your currently in.

I'm excited to see what else the "themes" can give me so I go back into the hidden menu and select "Road at Dawn"……….
    App Freezes and crashes out.
2nd app crash i've seen in 5 years!

To differentiate between websites that do this already, maybe open up to a setup menu (like websites do) to setup the purpose of the counter, but also give a root setup menu to setup more than one countdown interface.

Eg, how long has my first born been alive & how long until i turn 75 and can retire (swipe between each counter interface?)

Also and importantly, if using a counter that shows seconds, let the user set the seconds to start/end to/from. Eg baby's exact time on eath counter..

    Food for thought.

Actually great to hear some feedback, thank you!

I'm personally not a fan of having labels showing, I like a clean and simple interface. But your right, Its not obvious which circles show what. I'll make it more obvious.

The counter shown when app launches for the first time is the days since I started creating the app. I can mention that, might clear it up a little.

Great to know why the crashes, I know I've had eight of them in the last week, didn't know why, probably because of the ad, makes money, but I hate shifty experiences ;).

Can't asterisk theme label, but maybe can put a label in the menu saying what theme is showing?

Good idea about a setup menu, still haven't figured out how to make more than one countdown date, I've only been making apps for a few months haha.

Exact seconds is an interesting thought, didn't think it was necessary, but I can see it's use.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll send ya a beer lol

      • You picked the right forum mate,
        Glad I could help!
I drink Samuel Adams' Utopias looking forward to a coldie!

  • Rather pretty indeed, However the only thing I need to countdown is till lunch and I know when that is ;).
Make some quiz games, I enjoy them :P.
