The ground staff at the boarding gate will only scan one boarding pass for you if you check both online, and the whole plane will be waiting for another you to aboard….
They wont wait for you, they will just close the door on time. I miss flight for few minutes before even my friend at boarding gate told them I was in security check, online checked in already.
Had this in Tullamarine to Sydney flight, Tiger waited around 20mins for 3 people who were late, 2 managed to get on and they ditched the last person
