I have an old CD player that doesn't have a build-in speaker and you use headphone to listen to the music. I happen to have portable speaker for PC (the one that connects PC with USB port). My question is which adapter or cable that I need to buy in order to play music from the CD player to the speaker? Is it even possible?
I found this at ebay but wondering whether this will work.

Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
The article in your link wont work, because:
"2. please make sure your Car Audio System Built-in MP3 decode function, that can read the MP3 file from USB Flash Driver"
I could be wrong, but the USB speakers have a little sound card of their own - this is to enable decoding the digital signals from the usb port. the 3.5 mm jack is just an analog component so there wouldn't be any compatibility.
