  • Interesting, they must be sharing the same OEM:

Everything laser is rebranded cheap stuff with a high price.

      • @Clear: Is this Satechi USB-C Hub comes from the same OEM?

Yep. Satechi are like the Laser of the US.

    Damn that thing looks clunky

  • is there one with hdmi?

    • I'd like to know, too. I've been searching for one with hdmi and usb type A ports, but the ones I found are all very expensive.

    • Same here, still looking for a good usb type-c to hdmi to link up my spectre x2 to a 27" ultra wide LG monitor. (Both purchased off OzB deals of course)

    • I've been looking too. I have a dell XPS 15 but would love to be able to plug in one usb-c device to get all of my peripherals and monitor connected.

From what i've found, the market is pretty limited. The only good ones would be the OWC USB-C dock, CalDigit and maybe a few Lenovo/dell/HP docks. All being very expensive as well.

  • I'd be worried about snapping the plug off. That's a lot of weight.

  • It's only for Macbook 12"?

    • Should work with any other usb-c device for charging as well.

For those looking for a cheaper option with HDMI i purchased:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/371634011553?_trksid=p2057872.m27…

      • gone up by $2 since my purchase but works a treat on the Macbook 12"

I would argue that this solution looks a little better than the dangly cable though.
