After 20% off price is likely cheapest for Australian stock. Time to upgrade.

why did this get negged to oblivion hahahahaahah
'Negged to oblivion' would be much more negs than that. Sometimes I've seen users get over 200 negs. It gets pretty crazy,
The neggers have come out to play.
@TheOneWhoKnocks: Don't let the bastards get you down.
@FabMan: Nah its funny.
@TheOneWhoKnocks:
i love you all
They have a the 1070 in stock but not listed on their ebay site :(
i still think the proce is an early hype price, should go lower by the end of month
Good price for AUS. Pity it's a founders.
Lets hope they will not jack the price up at 9:59AM. If the price stays the same then i will be getting two :)
Looks like it's already jacked up, $1199 on their website: https://pcbyte.com.au/index.php/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-fo…
Considering that ebay normally charge %10 for selling fees i think the price is ok. $1039 after discount and free shipping sounds cheap comparing with other stores.
The percentage is lower for a store.
@BTRaynes: and even more for everyday users, some 12.5% plus 2.5% paypal and that's charged on shipping too!
Cool, might buy 2
what no love for SLI?
Have a third one dedicated to PhysX.
Fan issue resolved yet on these?
Paying a thousand dollars for the 'Founders Edition' only to find it doesn't work as intended is a bit crap. Perhaps better waiting for customised fans that actually work better than these with the benefit of being cheaper?
Something like this when in stock:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126…Its hardly an issue when its just related to a fan profile.
Fan issue resolved in the latest driver.
Though… I don't see why not wait for aftermarket solution if this isn't going to ship soon anyway.
I am wait for asus strix to come out. Better clocks/cooling for cheaper price. 1000+ for a card that thermal throttles hard? No thanks.
In my experience, reference cards are more stable than most of other customised ones in term of overclock. Easy to drive to run at maximum speed.
Have you seen reviews of this card? Thermal throttle on boost to below base clock.
I'm still using my evga gtx 780 x_x
Think I dont need an upgrade unless I go 4k or a multi monitor setup.
Higher res is making it harder and harder to read the screen though so I may even go back to 1080p…good to know.
And here I am just upgrading my radeon hd 7770 to GTX 680.
that's a good upgrade. that's nothing to belittle or look down upon. 7770 is actual potato (i had one), and the 680 was like top of the line what, like 4 years ago? that's good as
still more expensive than just buying from amazon..
Green Team thanks you for your continued support.
