mouseballs don't roll smoothly without them.

I know alot of laptops now have touch screen making mousepads redundant for most people but a lot of business people still use desktops at work.

      • +1

I think basicly anything was invented for its own purpose. nothing redundant for anything. If you are a real PC gamer. You gonna need very good mouse pad. Not only the mouse pad but people also invest For gaming gear like Mechanic Keyboard (cost over $100) good mouse… so on.

So i still think they're usable until now. I love to order one from Harvey

        Cheer mate

    • People who have PC's on a glossy desk? My high end Logitech won't work without one.

      • yep. you need a surface which will grip a mouseball.

  • What's the difference between a mouse pad and a gaming mouse pad?????

    • +2

gaming mousepads generally have less friction (smoother gliding) and are made of higher quality materials than normal ones.

      • +2

They are also a lot bigger than a normal mousepad.

The mousepad I'm using now is from this bargain, six years ago. That's right, six friggin years.

        Best mousepad evar!

        • I have a SteelSeries QCK World Of Warcraft Cataclysm edition - used to be a WoW fanboy and got the pad when the expansion came out for my (at the time) Intellimouse Explorer. Used it until it started tearing at the side, and then I upgraded to a QcK+ and left the old QcK with my dad as his new desk didn't work with his mouse.

They aren't pieces of cheap foam attached to cloth with clag glue

Do try it. I beat the computer in Chess Titans in two moves using one of the first gaming mousepads. Although back then they were much cheaper. Five for a fiver they used to say.

  • No stock for the mouse pad at Auburn and Broadway.

I bought one ($15) from MSY a few years back for my G400, and it really does make a difference. It's highly portable and durable (you can simply roll it up and move it elsewhere unlike hard plastic mousepads). Would recommend

I bought a Razer gaming mouse pad from EB mostly because I needed a new mouse mat and it was on a super EB sale which was actually decent. I had zero expectations but once you use it you can never go back. As mentioned above it's much bigger than a standard mouse pad and your mouse glides on silk - Brilliant.

  • the mouse pad is not available for pickup anywhere, which totals the price to $25.95 with $14.95 for shipping. Basically waste of time.

For those that can't pick up, there is the same mouse pad at mwave for $15.81 with free shipping. https://www.mwave.com.au/product/logitech-g240-cloth-gaming-…

  • says 15 for me.

    • Expired now man

      • ah darn, story of my life. I think it's a good deal, any chance it will be on promo again?

  • Decent deal. I sold my G240 mousepad (BNIB) recently as it wouldn't fit on my small IKEA desk with my laptop stand and keyboard :( Reviews all seemed very positive and that was before this price!
