Norton is offering it's annual cash back redemption program through JB HiFi again (I haven't checked if other stores have it, apart from Officeworks which doesn't).
$40 Cashback on 3 or 5 device 1 year or 2 year license (but don't get the 2 year because you don't get extra cash back).
$20 Cashback on 1 or 2 device 1 year license.
Terms and Conditions: https://phoenix.symantec.com/anz/cashbacks/
NB: You must activate at least one device by 17-July to claim this cashback offer.
To claim either rebate you have to install and activate your new Norton Security Premium for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 Devices or Norton Small Business on at least one device between 6 May, 2016 to 17 July, 2016 inclusive.
The prices are as follows:

Compatible with Windows and Mac (note that if you have Mac OS X and Windows on the same Macbook, that counts as 2 devices).
Also compatible with iOS and Android. NB: This used to include unlimited mobile devices, but the description seems to suggest these are now counted, so you may need more devices than when you purchased last year!!
Protects your family of 5 PCs, Macs®, Androids™ and iOS® devices with a single subscription.
Note that this is now the only Norton product, replacing all of the previous offerings such as Norton 360 and Norton Internet Security.
The best deal is the 5 device license, if you need that many devices (even though the percentage of discount is less, combined with the savings of the bundled original price it's still the best value).
The worst deals are clearly the 2 year 5 device license, and the 2 device license. If you need 2 devices, buy the 3 device license for less and have one spare (give it to your mum).
I took advantage of this last year and it was a relatively simple process. It takes a month or two for the cash back to arrive, and from memory I think it was by cheque. Not ideal but not that bad, especially given ATMs can cash cheques these days.
I've been a big fan of Norton software for years. I find it very effective and unobtrusive. Most of the time it just does its thing in the background, and only alerts you when it's done something good or doesn't know what to do next.
