Fellow OzBargainers,

As Spring Carnival time slowly approaches (~96 days away!) in various states, there will no doubt be a number of work functions and general celebrations (weddings, end of school etc) that will no doubt give us situations where we are in the company of people we don't have a lot in common with and need to speak off the cuff ;)

Here is a great conversation starter!

Yes, it's a bit tacky but I'm sure it will help kick off conversation if need be!

There are 20 varieties of Emoji to choose from about half way donw this list: http://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-cufflinks.html?spm=211…

They are pretty much all covered, from :) to :P and also :()

49% off for the next 20 hours or so!

A pair of cufflinks for 97c is a great deal IMO.

Material:Glass
Metals Type: Alloy

Guaranteed to arrive by September….hopefully!

  • Are these licensed or illegal fakes ?

    • At what point does a string of code become trademark-able?
In 1987 i started to use the original :) I have log files on my apple2 to prove it. Has anyone trademarked that?

  • store is meant to be over 500 feedback, this one (iCandy) is only 250.

    • The link still worked, so I assumed it was okay.

      Happy for mods to replace.

      • i wasnt the one reporting btw.
In general, it is just there are so many shonky stores on aliexpress, thats why OzB has put in post rules like Ebay. A lot have good photos but items received are not right. Ali protection is fairly limted unless you post the item back (which no one will do) - even if the item is broken/nothing like description you will only get part money back (I know from experience).
Ali does have deals, lots of junk between though.

I know these are only a few cents, but maybe shouldnt be promoted, thats my feeling.

mods have said the system doesnt pick up on ali deals properly. something like it picks up the wrong store (you can see your stor is number 1968259 but system has picked store 1958294

  • Purchased 4 for $2.84 USD hopefully they arrive in the next couple of months. I have purchased from Gearbest (watches) and Fishpond (books) before. Each of those e-store companies have always delivered (even if taken 8-10 weeks) sometimes even deliver twice by accident. Hopefully sellers on aliexpress are good. Nice change from the $90 silver Hugo Boss links (were $220) I purchased from DJ on special with a discount gift card a couple of years ago people never notice them anyway maybe people notice these.

  • They are twice as much through eBay. But prefer papal.

  • No poop, no buy.
