That reminds me, I still haven't picked mine up yet :/

Until you step on it offcourse
Dupe.
Question is, Should a fat c actually risk standing on glass if they weight around 180kg? I wouldn't risk it…. Anyway, not that I'm fat… Cos I'm not fat… I'm just big boned…
I might get one of these.
Um never mind.
Get two. One for each leg to stand on.
And a 3rd if you're a well-endowed chap.
Some of the reviews on the HN suggest these scales give +/- 5Kg results as you step on, off and then back on. Perhaps just role dice instead?
I have 2 weight watchers scales from HN. I am 2kg lighter on one. Guess which one I use. :)
Where can you get dice that go up to 180kgs though?
Next to the Barrier Highway, near Yunta, South Australia.

Useless. Had one that shattered one day when I stepped on it
I'd take that as a sign.
Serious? This is the worst thing you can expect from these gadgets. Hope your feet are intact.
On the other hand I am not surprised this does happen, as the cheap made-in-china sh!t usually have appalling quality of components which eventually could become safety risk.
Agree: if HN sell them for $8, how much do you think they buy them for? How much do you think the factory sells them for?
I have one of these. it isnt super accurate when you use it.
On a scale of 1 to 180 how accurate is it?
Its about 2 kg off compared to the other 2 scales i use.
I bought two of these in the previous sale - one for me and one for my parents. Tested it out by weighing myself on each. Roughly 0.4kg difference between the two scales. Also I found the weight tends to round off to certain increment numbers. So if I held something that weighed 100-200g it might not register a different weight, but a bit more than that it will register a bigger weight increase. Good for the price though. I am still using it every day.
my (different) scales are like that. they tend to "snap" to the last reading, probably to hide any small measurement variations. what i do is first jump on and take a reading with a extra 2kg weight (or alternatively press against wall to exert a greater down force), then jump on again for a proper reading. repeat until i get a consistent reading.
That is an exercise in itself. This machine is 2 in 1. Measure weight to reduce weight!
Bought one from previous deal. Not bad. gives same/similar readings every time, not wayward (I am trying to maintain my weight :). Same readings as the scale at my Gym which I hope is a good quality one.
I've never understood why people call these "Weighing Scales". Would be far better calling them "Personal Scales".
Also I've never understood why some people call a petrol powered lawn mower a "push mower".
@llama there were and still are self-propelled petrol mowers on the market. They even have robots now but I'm getting off-topic.
Getting weigh ahead of myself, I have a similar model which I use with minimal pane.
Push mower as opposed to a ride on mower?
Push mower as opposed to a ride on mower?
OK, so what about mowers that don't have an engine, like THIS?
Is that a push-push mower?
Hmm… I take your point.
Hello ozbargainers,
After a few months of usage around 6-7 months, the unit was not responsive and gave false readings. Like it said i was 240 kilos at one point and 65 kilos. Please take this product with warning as this is not acceptable!!.
I go to the gym often and im 180 kilos.
peace out
