selfdaughter….LOL, I was going to purchase one for my 1m old baby.
Great price but when I checked reviews on Amazon for the rolling spider drone it looks like it got terrible battery. Lasts only 5 minutes after charging for 1 hour. So basically you got to charge it for one hour after every 5 minutes of use.
I was planning to get one but not after reading the reviews.
Yep, I have had one of these for a year or so and I can confirm that not long after having them the battery life goes down to a couple of minutes or less, because they have a bad connection setup (which Parrot know about because people have been complaining for years - check the web).
When new, and if the battery connects properly, they fly for about 8 mins or so. I was happy with that.
Should also note, they only fly with the Parrot mobile phone app, which means you need a compatible smartphone as well (not a problem for most, but just saying).
Also, they fly for longer, and better with the (protector) wheels off (you dont have to fly it with the wheels on).
It said 8m of flying (most likely with the cage off). Enough time to send this drone up to my roof for inspection. Not sure how good the camera is though.

It's primarily there just to detect the ground for it's auto-take-off and auto-landing functionality.
