Good open bluetooth headset
Review from CNET
It lets some ambient noise in so you can hear traffic if you're running, this is a significant advantage over JayBird for road runners.

Wow, the price on these has really gone up. I got them for $86.45 at Officeworks 6 months ago: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/216720

    • Yeah I'm interested for around 80 but 100 is a bit too much

    • Indeed, was looking for router on futu, and wish I brought the RT-AC68U router when it was 200 with 100 ebay voucher.
When the deal is gone, it is gone unfortunately. :(

I think they were price matching DS Sales at the time (where I got mine). As DS is gone it'll hard to get that price.

      IMO great headset for running/gym.

      • Nah, they were price matching Mobile Express because I asked them to. At the time Mobile Express had them for $91 and I think a couple other places were sub-$100, if they'd rejected Mobile Express I had 2-3 other places to price match lined up. ME now has them for $129.

        • Hey mate, in your last post in that thread you linked you said you are sick of them. Mind sharing what you moved onto instead?

        • @ChillBro: I still don't like them… but I'm still using them. I've never found a good quality alternative.

I've found if I leave them outside my ears they don't get my ear canals all swollen and hurty. That was my biggest problem with them. I just walk around with them hooked on my ears but not in them, looking like a bit of an arsehat. People definitely look at them. But it's fine. I can play podcasts very loud and only people quite close to me can hear them. For phone calls I pop them in my ears and pop them out when the call is over.

I've almost lost them multiple times because they've fallen off when I've taken them off my ears and put them on my shoulders.

Honestly I should probably switch back to the cheapo $25 models now that I think about it. But I'm suffering from a sunk cost fallacy dilemma.

  • I own these - they're bloody good. Decent buy for $103.

  • really good, will stay on your head, and also the option for more noise isolation by plugging them into your ears good. Although I'd leave them a bit more loose while running aroudn to hear ambient noise.

  • Hows this compared to audio 66?

  • I owned this for a week then returned them, I had huge problems with the way they designed the ear pieces. Basically if they are outside your ears u hear too much noise from outside so u have to crank up the volume. I have sensitive ears so putting up the volume high means damaged ears for me, that's why I always use noise isolating or noise cancelling headphone

The headphones don't have an in ear noise isolating buds, instead u can push it in Ur ear a little bit but it's extremely uncomfortable. Terrible design

Some people might like this, but if u care about comfort and for noise isolation then this is a bad choice
