Quite possibly the cheapest price in the world atm. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Mad Catz Street Fighter V Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition S+ is also available for $282 shipped.
Don't forget cashrewards or pricepal

For a controller it is expensive but then again a Thrustmaster T500RS wheel is also a controller of sorts and that will set you back around $800.
Any improvements over the last few?
Back when SF IV was out these were $300
Back when SF IV was out in 2008 AUD was in parity. Those were good times (Sigh)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not really much you can do to improve from the old tournament edition sticks. It's mainly just compatibility.
A lot cheaper and be fun if you like "projects": http://youtu.be/e8FQ_KZIAkY
I would love a Tournament Edition, but can't seem to convince myself.
Sharing my VX stick Mod experience below
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/79413
i bought 2 sets of these
Sold 1x Tekken for $50
So… cost $196 - $50 = $146 for 2x VX sticks and 1x Tekken (let's value tekken at $50)
MY MOD

using link above as a guide
Sanwa Buttons from OZStick x 12 = $36
Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT x2 = $70
So… for approx $200 i got myself a set of 2 pretty good hardware for Street Fighter play
I am tempted to try find a Hori’s Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai - Fight Stick
The Hori Hayabusa Joystick
https://www.focusattack.com/hori-hayabusa-joystick/
Compared to Tournament Edition's; i can't tell the difference with buttons; but the stick in the TE's are that little bit tighter.
HUGE improvement from the rubbish stock buttons and joystick in the VX Stick.
I have the same stick. With the mod did you need to drill any holes? Look good but this platform is a bit too small and light when playing a heated battle
No need to drill holes
The Joystick is a tad larger than the original in length.
I pulled out my spare motherboard mounting screws and used them before I attached the rear cover back on.
I use the stick in seated position on my lap.
Don't really have an issue with it's size or weight.
But i am sure the TE's are quality.
Maybe an Ikea Lack Hack for the perfect height stand for the fightstick?
Melbourne = RED HOUSE or WHITE HOUSE
I am still trying to achieve an arcade feel during battles.
I have some mates that like to get into their battle stances for street fighter.
Button bash Mashers; they break a sweat.
OK. Thanks!
R u planning to do it?
@chinezejew: nah, I have an Namco super neo arcade cabinet to mod
Galaga 40c/ credit at AMF bowling
