Redmi Note 3 Owners - Camera Issue

I've had the phone for a few months and its been great.

However, I have an issue with blurred images from the rear camera. In contrast the front camera takes pretty good images. Initially I just thought the camera is poor and I will just have to live with it, but then I noticed how much better the front camera is. Clearly a 13MP camera should be as good or better than a 5MP selfie camera. I've taken the same shot with both and the front one is a lot less sharp.

Does anyone else have this issue? I have tried different camera apps with no difference. Not sure if this would be a hardware or software issue. The phone would be just about perfect if I could sort out this issue.
