Alright price, been about that for ages though. I got my arcade with 2 additional games (granted, rather average) for $229 a year or so ago.

Don't all the new units have either 256Mb onboard save game memory or even 512M on the newer jasper units ?
I bought mine june last year and it had 512M onboard …..
Just check them before you buy, i did the stupid thing of buying these cheap 360s a few months ago from Target, it was a refurb from MS repacked into a nice resale kit from Target with a couple crap games tossed in to bait the retarded buyers.
The manufacture date was 2006, not happy. Non HDMI as well
Couldnt be stuffed taking it back but was not happy.
I had one of those old ones (without hdmi) until early December last year when it stopped working with the bottom right hand ring flashing.
I was still in the 3 yr warranty period and it cost me nothing to send it back (pre-paid sticker sent to me}.
Two weeks later Microsoft sent me a new console (Manuf date: Sept, 2009).

Yeah I asked to check before hand. They had 3 of them and I picked the newest but they were all mid to late 2009.

Can't confirm it but I can say I just picked up the brochure and got EB to price match it - only because I had left over gift cards from there.

wow didn't realise EB still match console prices, and accept gift cards as payment. There was this fuss last year where they stopped matching console prices due to all the crazy trade exploits people were doing.
they just refused to match the $268 Wii from HN for me, said they can't match consoles only bundles which sounded like BS
Wouldn't it be cheaper to grab it from the recent Toys r Us bargain which has it going for $260?
