    Being an online store (ie. Cannot try on for sizing), what's your returns policy for incorrect size on clearance products?

      From the website:

      Change of Mind / Wrong Size Exchanges

      If your garment is not of a totally perfect fit, we will offer you the option of either a store credit or an exchange. Items must be returned within five (5) days of you receiving the items.

      The following provisions must be met for a return;

      All garments must be in its original condition with swing tags, accessories attached (if any), unworn, unwashed and in its original packaging. Returned goods that are damaged and/or worn will not be covered under our policy.
      You are responsible to pay for the returned shipping cost.

  • Local customers in Perth can try the item in store however for customers that aren't able to make it to our store, we offer exchange or store credit as per our policy and pasted by @eviltom.
    For clearance items, we do not accept returns or exchanges for wrong sizing. The measurements are provided on each of the dresses on the respective page.
    If you require any further measurement or details you are welcome to drop us an email or call us.
    We hope this has answered your question.

    • Then I don't think this will be a deal for anyone outside of Perth. Even with the measurements or a phone call, why take the risk if it doesn't fit right.

  • It's widespread knowledge that online shopping entails a degree of "risk" in the sense that you can't try the merchandise on. This is why size charts, measurements and other garment information is made available to aid the buyer in the decision making process. Plenty of people purchase online knowing the risk that a particular clothing item may not fit but reviewing the measurement details may help them determine a little better.
    The deal is made available so customers within Perth and outside have the opportunity to shop the sale at their discretion. Why limit the deal to just within Perth when others outside Perth may be looking for such dresses? This is the convenience and benefit of the internet and online shopping.
    Perhaps as a buyer (?) you may not deem it is worth the risk, but this is your personal choice. The deal is just being made public and available for those who are interested.

    • I've tried the measurement route before. Didn't fit properly. And even if it did fit, it might not look good on you.

      As I said, it's fine if you're in Perth and can try it on in store, but $99.99 on something that might not be right for you and that you can't return… no ones going to be interested in that - it's not like electronics or something where you can do research before purchasing a non-refundable item.

  • Perhaps what might not work for you may work for someone else. Or maybe other customers are happy to go with measurements. How else do other online boutiques (who don't have brick and mortar stores) sell their merchandise? Some of their merchandise sell for over $100. Online shopping isn't for everyone but surely an avenue that has become popular in the many recent years. Policies set out by stores are at their discretion and the buyers are only required to oblige by it if they choose to buy, which means they have accepted the risk that it might not fit.
    We're just not sure if you are particularly interested in evening gowns/ball dresses per se??
