doing the same…which lights did you grab?
Funnily enough I've never done night riding before, so just testing the waters with some cheap X Tech lights to start with (beetle for rear, striker for front).
Thought I saw 'Tushy' and got interested…
Isn't it normally free shipping on $30? Maybe it's $40 normally.
Just had a quick look through the lights in their sale - in that quick look I noticed one of the X-Tech front lights (http://www.pushys.com.au/x-tech-duo-usb-headlight.html) is described as having:
"5mm White LEDs - Visible from up to 100m"NSW law says for night riding you must have: "A steady or flashing white light on the front of the bike that is clearly visible for at least 200 metres." (Also an equivalent red rear light and a rear red reflector visible at 50m).
Can confirm that you'll want powerful lights for night riding unless the area is really well lit. I think mine were around $100 but maybe that's overkill
Waiting for the next big Pushys sale, couldn't see much there to get excited about. Some of the 3T carbon drop bars look like OK value.
Check out their sale/clearance stock, sometimes you can find a good bargain.
Last year I got this jacket for $60 from Pushys.
Bought a $20 pump (needed one with a pressure gauge) and some co2 canisters. Def hoping for a repeat of last years sale sometime, that was crazy.
thanks OP - bought a number of the lights.. just had my knogs nicked off the bike when I left it locked up on the street.
