I know other cases will not fit say i would so no(please correct me if I am wrong). Screen protectors for the ipad air will fit the ipad air 2 though.

I get all my ipad cases and phone covers of Ebay …. cheap, they have lots of models and delivered to the door.
if you have a drill driver then you could modify it to fit the camera, volume button not much, can control these from the screen, Air 2 doesn't have silent button anyway so no issue on this, mic and speaker won't be affected much. The point is whether you want to ruin your beautiful Apple design gadget, because as an iDevice owner, you sir certainly have to possess aesthetic taste that cannot be compromised.
Oh, and the Air 2 is thinner so expect it won't be hold tight in this case.

I have been using an Apple iPad Air cover (not the case) on my Air 2. In my opinion, it's better than an Air 2 cover.

Do these covers have all the side buttons (volume,off etc.) cutouts on them for ipad mini 2 ? i got a ipad mini cover and it didnt have all the cutouts and the store said that mini 1 is different than 2,3 and 4

We have a never used (still in box) keyboard for an Apple iPad or iPad2. If someone is interested and willing to pay something reasonable, and lives reasonably close to Cranbourne drop me a line. I forget how much I paid Kogan for it.
We have a new iPad Air2 now which would not be compatible (different connections … thank you Apple).
Today our local Good Guys had some mobile phone cases on special too. For example Samsung Galaxy S5 marked down to $8. Could be store specific though.

I just wanted to share that I ordered one on Saturday, because I thought my current cover wasn't good enough (my iPad had already suffered a dent recently).
On Sunday, my iPad (with the case) fell out of my bag, onto the road (I was getting out of the car), and lo and behold… the screen was smashed!! :( Even with a tempered screen protector.
Case delivered today. Cost: $20.
Repair cost: $129 + $29 another tempered glass screen protector.
Still, beats having to fork out even more cash to buy a replacement iPad.
