Has anyone played/got this and has an opinion on it? Reviews seen fairly average but did love the series years ago, including more recent underground and most wanted.
I have played this and do not think it reaches the highs of Most Wanted or Underground (which is the best NFS IMO). Remember this is online only and it sucks that you cannot pause etc. I love the graphics but overall a bit meh! And the live cut scenes - come on EA - that is so 2006!
This price cut just makes me think it will free soon on EA Access!online only
Just like The Division, I never bought this game either.
Not even close to Hot Pursuit, good graphics but gameplay is lame and the tracks are very boring. I would say wait for the next NFS
FYI If you have an Xbox live gold membership and can live without the physical disc, it's currently $32.98. The deluxe edition is $36.28.

Not atm but there has been talk about MS trialing some sort of sell back of digital games going round the rumour mill for a month or two
It sorta depends on the game type, if it's game you are going to want to keep (lots of onlin play like halo or forza) u won't want to resell anyway but if it's quantum break with nothing but a single player campaign that's a definite issue
@Iggemo: Curious as to why you would want a digital? what are the benefits besides a disc getting scratched? :)
@TRENT86: How long have you had your xbone? Disc drive not dying yet? Ive had mine since day 1 and it is. Already have to enter a disc about 10 times before it will read it some days !
@Iggemo: Hasn't been as bad as people think the games that have come out are awesome but I do miss games like COD & Assassins creed but hopefully the NX Will solve those problems :)
Good price, crap game though.
Recently got Need for Speed Rivals for PC. Got it all installed and setup my G27 ready to play only to find that it doesn't support racing wheels. WTF?! How can a company produce a driving game in this century that doesn't support racing wheels. Oh thats right, it is EA. No wonder…

Does this game not work with steering wheel for xbox one?
My understanding is it doesnt have support for wheels on any platform and also has no cockpit view, some racing game hey - oh and no manual transmission either
