    Great piece.
    Bought this for around $100 - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/228019

    • Yup, wished I'd bought one like this years ago. Even if mine dies I'd be our buying another steam generator as I iron every day and it's so much better functionality than a standard iron regardless of price difference.

Agreed. Great iron especially if you iron a lot of clothes. Easy to use as only one temperature setting. Irons business suits perfectly without leaving shiny marks. Just remember to get a sturdier ironing board like the aldi ones.

    • great to know that this fits on ALDI iron boards. was looking to buy a board for this

      • Over the past 2 years I have seen 2 types of aldi boards. Only one was wide enough. I replaced my old aldi wide one after it broke with a Philips one.

Thanks OP, got one for mum for next year's Advance Mothers Day Gift.

I actually bought one for myself probably a year ago from Target and it's still going strong. Mum visiting us in Australia and used ours and she loves it. So yes, it's Win-Win situation.

    Thank you

True ozbargainer. Got your mum to iron your clothes while she visited.. :p

  • I bought the model below which is great, but I paid more then this for that one, so disappointed now.

    • Get yourself a credit card with long price protection (like 2 years on the Coles ones). Won't help in this case, but for identical items from the same retailer that subsequently sell cheaper it's great.

  • is this cheaper?

    $299.00 brand new - 20% - $100 cashback = $139.20

    • Yes if you can pickup otherwise they charge $10 delivery charges. So that'll $309, but if you're not local, can buy from GG after 7pm for $316, which is not a big difference after 20% discount. As you can taie it back to your local store, if any problem occurs.

Samthing happened to me when I bought a microwave last week. I prefered to pay $12 extra to puckup from my local GG store instead of buying from Billy Guyatts. Yes my microwave was deal on opening the box, so I took it back straightaway. Saved me a lot of hassle posting it back to them.

      Choice is yours

      • i would pickup from local store. Bing lee is just around the corner.

        • yeh I saw that but don't think it's local for a lot of people. I'm in Melbourne and have never seen a store before

  • Does anyone know if this is better than the Tefal ones from this promo?
