I did get excited…….till quickly realised it's not as good as 9 for 9.95

i saw a lady arguing with them that they wouldn't do 12 strips, most people argue the other way. I like the mix but since people really obviously don't like it they should just let the customers choose.

Went to KFC Saturday night, they seemed surprised people were okay to wait for freshly cooked hot and spicy and weren't interested in original recipe that was already cooked
Today is the last day for hot and spicy, I'm planning to smash it pretty hard at lunch time.
Move to QLD, we have hot and spicy all year round. :)

Not every store. I have found some that do not stock hot and spicy at all, but majority of KFCs do. All. Year. Round.

I was blown away the first time I tried to buy hot and spicy interstate and the dude was like "We're not doing hot and spicy right now". It didn't make any sense at all. It was like maccas saying they don't do burgers,

Yeah QLD $9.95 for 9 pieces is better value than this offer because you get 9 pieces of chicken instead of half tender strips

@lovepeoplenotmoney: They did stop the 9 for $9.95 for a while when they brought out the 6 pieces of chicken + 6 tenders for $12. So I am asking if they stopped it now that they have this new offer.

Not in QLD stores sadly, however in the rest of asutralia I beleive you can for no extra cost. (Zinger's and Fillets are an extra $1.30)
You can always get the "fillets box" with zinger fillets. Its my usual order. Even though its not on the menu anymore, they still do it

Tried the Hot & Spicy chicken yesterday in North Parramatta, NSW and must say that this was the best tasted chicken from KFC that i have tried. The lady in the counter was happy to convert my online order of Original recipe to Hot and spicy :)
Is it just me who prefers original recipe over hot and spicy? I mean, hot and spicy is just the same batter as wicked wings..I'll go eat a wicked wing for that. But where else can you get that glorious Colonel Sanders 11 secret herbs and spices chicken that is Original Recipe?! Original recipe forever.
