itunes. highest saving for a while now.

    • Agree, best discount for at least half a year.

    • +3

Yep, and an ideal way to save 25% off netflix if you use your itunes credit to purchase (assuming that is still possible?)

      • I only just learnt about it, today. Verrry interested! If i can stack a ton of cheap iTunes credit towards already cheap netflix… MINT

But, i don't have appletv or iTunes. All pc/android/chromecast.

        Will google tomorrow.

      • +1

I stock up on discounted iTunes credit which goes towards my Apple Music Family monthly subscription - which debits from iTunes account.
Another way to save a few bucks!

Zico coconut water 1L for $3 is a good deal

  • +1

Will fill the freezer with Dr.Oetker pizza, the domino's half price is over.

    • +13

You should leave some space as if you fill the freezer completely you may block circulation of air from vents and decrease efficiency.

      • Probably just a figure of speech. We are at OzB, though

But your advice is still very valid.

  • +1

    TRENT86, fix the sale date. It should be 18 - 24 May (not 17 - 25).

    And thanks for the post.

      Thanks Aussie D :)

      • +5

Nah, thank you for the awesome work as always. :D

    Good deals!

feel bad for the recent news, she missed out on 25% off

    • +10

Damn! How on earth did she not sense something was fishy when she was asked to make Australian High Commission payments in iTunes vouchers?

      • Imagine how many people the scam was tried on - she was just the one of 000's who took the bait.

      • +1

Yeah, I wonder how easy it will be to track the scammers via sales of those codes. Maybe they sell the codes on the street for cash or something rather than accepting money into a bank account or paypal, or perhaps bitcoin sales?

        • I was wondering how come the cops couldn't track it, but upon reading your comment I think you've made a good point. After all, these scammers aren't your typical pick-pocketing everyday thieves. They often happen to be some type of self-taught hackers who know how to pull off hard-to-track scams. My heart goes out to the poor souls who become victims of these modern, advanced crimes, especially many of the unsuspecting seniors who have their life-long savings stolen a lot lately.

        • @AussieDaddy: You also have to consider that the local police in whatever country they are located may not give two hoots about tracking scammers.

      • These were heavy tactics, playing on fear. Bad guys.

Anyone know if you can use iTunes gift cards to pay for Apple Music?

    • +1

      Yes, you can.

    • +3

With 25% off, it's the cheapest way to pay for Netflix too.

      • Good to know… how do you pay using iTunes cards? Is it somewhere in the Apple TV Netflix app?

        • +1

Anywhere, including the iOS apps. Hit subscribe, use Touch ID, and boom you're done.

        • @bangbang: Cheers!

  • Good deal on iTunes card! Will also stock up Dr Oetker's.

    50% Off Kleenex 2ply Tissues 250pk
    Yay! I know what I'll be doing…

    • +1

you should yay for washable socks too

    • +Voting?

      • That's a hell of a "spoiled ballot"

  • Officeworks will likely have them for same price. If ordering $50+ you can get free delivery

can i use my coles giftcards (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247351) to pay for some itunes giftcards?

    • +3

The official response is NO. You are not allowed to use gift cards to buy other gift cards (whether iTunes is considered a gift card is another thing).

Since the self checkouts are stupid (they cannot tell the difference between debit and gift cards) this will work with any giftcard.

      a) Scratch off the gift card PINs before you get to the store.
      b) Pick a busy time of the day and pay attention to the self checkout person when walking in (if they look slack you will get away with it)
      c) purchase/scan your gift card/s on the self checkout
      d) the machine will demand approval from a self checkout operator (do not make it obvious that you are using a gift card)
      e) Wait until they walk away or get distracted by another customer
      f) Pay using the gift card (if you have a good memory remember the PIN it is only 4 digits) it will make it faster and less suspicious if they happen to look.

      • +1

Gift cards trigger an alert… Everytime I used a self service checkout the machine triggers an alert for the attendant to come and look at the giftcards that I am buying.

But most just scan through without really checking.

  • I brought pies and pizza from Coles last week. :(

    • +2

      Good to know.

    • +16

      did you buy them

    • +1

      Are you taking the pizza?!

  • 85c for the Cadbury bars is a new low, too

  • Twisting the knife into Woolies??

The Optus Prepaid Pixi 4.5 4G at $34.50 is quite a good deal too at half price. Telstra Tempo is also half price at $29 and Telstra Cruise at $14.50 (half price as well).

    • Pixi 4.5 has been $29 (+ free $20 google play credit) in the past. Still not bad for a cheap Telstra 4GX hotspot after a ~$1.50 unlock.

      • Yeah I know, was a great deal.

  • Do they rotate the Dr Oetker pizza $3.75 deals every few months?. Been waiting for a while (was $5 other week…)

    • Was this price at woolies about a month ago.

  • Will Officeworks match itunes cards? $50 card at 25% off is $37.50, plus an additional would put it at $35.63, or 28.74% off

    • Most Likely

    • They are 20% off at OW everyday, they will probably just make them 25% off for everyone since Coles and OW are the same company.

    • Ring Officeworks and find out.

    • +1

Just bought a $50 card at Officeworks in Bourke St today for $35.63, so yep they're price beating it, at least for now…

  • Office works price beat $71.25 iTunes $100 love how Netflix got cheap

  • Just bought a few iTunes vouchers and when I checked my receipt I saw that they were only 20% off.
Went straight to the info counter and they said there was nothing they could do, it was a misprint and I have to call head office. No refunds! :(

    • +2

Hey bronnnie, what was the actual discount? I just purchased a card as well and it while it scanned as 20% off, but the actual discount amount was $12.50.

      • +1

Jtb's on the money. It says 20% but the discount is actually 25%.

        • Oops can't believe I didn't pick that up!
          Thanks guys!!

  • +1

tried to buy two $50 last night for $71.25 at OW but the cards would not get activated. so i asked for a refund. got refunded $80 for some reason (OW was selling it at $40 each)

went to another OW and got the same $71.25 price for two $50.

so net, paid: $62.50 for $100 itunes card
