Not any ordenary LED, the Nichia 219B has a high CRI (colour rendition index) of 92.

They give the most true to natural appearance of nearly all LED's, commonly used in high end expensive lighting equipment and photography lighting.

A friend sent me a different AAA torch with a Nichia 219B LED in it the other day and I find it more appealing than other torches I own as it make the colour really come to life instead of being washed out.

Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these.
