Car keys pickup at Brisbane & Hobart airports

Hi all,
I want to leave my car keys at the Brisbane airport for a friend to pickup and drive my car (which will be parked at the airport). I plan to leave the car for their use while I am in Hobart, and they are in Brisbane. My Hobart-based friend will do the same at Hobart airport for me. My issue is how best to arrange for the keys. Is there such a thing like "parcel pickup" at airports? What is the best option to do this? The only other option I can think of is to each mail our spare keys to each other.
thanks for your anticipated input.

Just hide them somewhere on the car or use third party airport parking. Brisbane lockers are $10 a day but I'm not sure if they are key or pin.

So will you both be in the air at the same time?

If so, that means your car won't be sitting long in the secure carpark, so you should just hide the keys somewhere on the car. You could even affix them with tape underneath somewhere. Is anyone seriously going to wander up to your car at the airport and see if you may have hidden keys somewhere???

If not, then you could surely meet your friend in Hobart before he flies or in Brisbane before you fly…

" mail Courier our spare keys to each other"

If you leave your keys under the car, if the car gets stolen, there's a good chance that your insurance company won't pay.

There's lost and found at Brisbane airport. Hand in the keys there as you "found" them. Wink wink.
