    Whole Chicken - $19.45 now $9.73

25% off $20 makes it $15 for a chicken. You have done half price (50% off)
or have I got it completely wrong.

          I would've reported

I wouldn't buy a car from you either because lies come too easily to you :P

We both know that you wouldn't need to report, when you can edit an original post yourself. That's what your superpowers are for! :)

I haven't had nandos (or any chicken for that matter) for years. What do they taste like? Am I missing out on something special? :)

    -wiki

    • -2

It's just chicken. Nothing special and way overpriced normally

      • +1

        Thanks.

      • +5

        Overpriced? Probably. Just chicken? No.

    • +1

      Fictional characters can't taste Nandos

Doesn't sound too much like a bargain

Just get the peri peri butterflied chicken from aldi @$7.99/kg. Much nicer. And the breast is not dry after ovening.

    • +2

Rob Schneider was ovening until one day…de derp-a-derp de teedley derp. Rated PG-13.

    • +1

Had both. The nandos had a thicker sauce generally, and probably way more spice, salt and the umami hit in comparison. I think there must also be some type of liquid smoke component to the nandos sauce, or to the chickens generally because that smokiness is usually missing from the aldi version..

Just my thoughts on it. I actually like both!

      • Did u grill over direct heat or oven/pan fry?

        • I did it over a gas fired bbq.

        • @ankor:
Over the grill or the full hotplate?
The reason is that they cook over 'open' gas fire, which gives that charcoal flavour and 'umami'.
Cooking on the hotplate/pan fry won't give that 'umami'.
I have also seen them baste the chicken presumably with extra sauce.

  • What is it about tuesdays and chicken?! I just gotta eat it on tuesday!!!

  • +1

    so overpriced

    • -1

Might have to revoke my + vote if more people feel this way

      • +4

Feel free, no one's holding a gun to your head.

Just kinda sad you can't have your own opinion and have to rely on others.

I mean, after all you said you were going to post this, weren't you?

        • I don't vote based on who posted it as you can see, like yourself.

I'm a fan of Nandos and think this 25% is worth while.

    Whole chicken at Coles/Woolies = $8.
    That is all.

    • -1

Raw uncooked chicken + seasoning = about $6-$7.

      Point being?

      • +2

        That is all.

      • -1

roasted and stuffed chicken for $7 at coles

        • +1

I hope it gets stuffed before it gets roasted

        • Depends on what you're stuffing it with :D

  • +3

wtf only WA and QLD… …

its only funny when they exclude Tas

    • Aww cmon, NSW has been excluding Vic for how long?

  • +1

Nandos is actually cheap compared to a soya chicken which is usually ~$30 at any Asian store

  • +1

Just had in WA, no need to show anything. Points were added to my Nandos card. Of course if two people are going it is cheaper to split one whole chicken, then add maybe a large chips, and ask for a bottle of tap water from the fridge.

    • then add maybe a large chips

Takeway, Airfryer and Nandos salt :)

      • +1

        Used, thanks op.

  • +1

Thanks OP, waiting for my chicken now. No matter what anyone says I think it's the best takeaway on offer (fast food wise)

    • yep but $19 for a half chicken meal gets too expensive after a while

      • True although I buy a whole chicken takeaway and make my own salad - much cheaper that way. IMO any fastfood that's cheaper you pay for with your health!

  • Must be to combat kfcs perpetual 9pcs for 9.95 deal. I reckon that's probably the busiest day of the week for KFC and now it's so entrenched up here, they can't get rid of it. They tried about a year ago or more, and brought it back about a month later.
