XP is dead so no need to worry about SNI support on that platform. :)

For OzBargain.com.au (not the blog), past 30 days, 42.50% of users were using Windows. Of that, the breakdown.:
And even those XP users could switch to Firefox instead of using IE.
Chrome 6 and later support SNI on XP
@fruit: Chrome is no longer supported for XP. Chromium might be though.
I knew it wouldn't be at the bottom. I was expecting Vista to be higher than Win8 though.
What are the stats for IE on XP?
Analytics can only break down what version of IE you are using but not the OS (afaik).
87.79% of Internet Explorer users are on IE 11.
Actually, I figured it out.
Windows XP users:
And Windows XP browser version:
… other IEs:
@neil:
Cool only 0.04% of all Ozbargainers use IE on XP
@fruit: Yes, but of how many?
According to the stats Nov/Dec 2015:
Overall traffic: 9,733,773 sessions, 33,801,681 pageviews. || November 2015: 8,606,319 sessions, 27,950,879 pageviews. || December 2014: 7,906,853 sessions, 25,893,169 pageviews.
Hang on, so nobody's using Windows 98??
Windows 98 doesn't really support modern browsers, you might be able to use a very outdated version of Firefox or Opera browser but it's very unstable.
I know people still using it. Not for the internet though as it's unusable.
All the operating system discussions aside — no one actually pointed out that OzBargain blog is already in HTTPS?!
We are using Let's Encrypt at the moment which is troublesome with its 3 months expiry. Might get a proper certificate later. We have been using SNI for the last 2 years. SNI does not work for IE users on Windows XP (however Chrome or Firefox users are fine), nor Android 2.x users — however I don't care much about that.
XP is very far from being dead. It would be interesting to see the OS statistics on OzB.
