Accu-Chek Performa Meter Kit With Fastclix $40 [$0 After Cashback] @ Chemist King
Sorry monty.melb but the free deal from the manufacturer is still active : https://www.metermatch.com.au/?promo_code=P9H9K6
But this one is with Fastclix and the one you mention is not
??? There 2 or 3 different models they send out depending on your survey answers but they all come with a lancing device(My wife got the exact same model you posted with Fastclix) plus you don't have to pay anything and wait for the cashback.
Also your deal is the normal price in most pharmacies for a long time now http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/51551/Accu-Chek-Perfo…
Sorry monty, I appreciate your efforts and all of your previous deals but I don't think this is a bargain.
Do you have to lie about having diabetes for this?
Why would you want it if you didn't have diabetes?
To see what effect various foods have on your blood sugar.
taking steroids ? (it also drives your blood sugar up) - curiosity
@tantryl:
Well you are worried about it so you qualify.
I got one a few weeks ago from the above link for the same reason as you, they are very happy to give you one.
They are useless unless you buy strips and lancets, that is where they make money.
@SamR: It asks what type of diabetes you have and there's no "I don't, I'm just curious" option. It's gestational or Type 2. It can't even be Type 1.
The irony - A type 1 Diabetic uses it the most!
I feel for all who have the condition - it sucks at times
Say Type 2, it is true, you fear type 2
They want you to have it, the strips cost a fortune.
@SamR: There's nothing about fear on the page and I don't fear it.
The page even says:
For people with diabetes.
@tantryl:
Great you don't need it then.
@SamR: No, I don't. I want it though. That's what this entire thread was about.
This is the normal price at Chemist Warehouse
Just like inkjet printer - nothing special.
