My cleaner comes every 2 weeks for $65. Now that's $1999 / $65 = 30.7 biweeks, which is over a year cleaning done in the house.

not comparable since supposedly your carpets would be cleaner using this more powerful vacuum than your house cleaner can achieve. In fact you could buy one of these for your house cleaner to use. Unless of course they already own one & so there's no point you buying one.

that includes 19% VAT (€127) so contact the shop and they should be able to drop the VAT for you (export sales not subject to GST). if you manage to do that, you're down to $1061 including shipping. Maybe you can get them to split the invoice for you and ship the EB370 component separately. you probably pay additional shipping but it gets you under the $1000 GST limit.
