The Hype Machine app has just dropped from $3.99 to completely free on the Play Store, while remaining $5.49 on the iTunes App Store.
The Hype Machine is a network that discovers the most talked-about music from approximately 800 taste-making blogs around the world. The app sorts the music in to categories such as “newest tracks” or “most popular tracks of the day” for easy discovery.
For the time being, the app also remains ad-free.

        None, for now…. usually when apps go free a version or two later they have IAP. At least play store won't auto update apps when they add new permissions :)

    Good deal for an amazing free streaming service! Be warned though I've found that it is a pretty frustratingly buggy app, consistently doesn't play songs but it will show it as buffering. For free though it's great!

      Haha I usually find songs I like on there and then hope they're on spotify so I can actually listen to it properly later!
