  • Do you have full remotes and not just cases?

    • Hi!

For garage remotes we only sell complete/full remotes.

For car remotes we only sell cases - except Ford Falcon remotes which we have complete remotes.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • Hi, I have bought a B&D 4 Button Tri-Tran Garage remote replacement from you guys however I have not been able to pair it. I have followed the instructions that were included in the pack but with no luck. Is there a limit of how many remotes can be paired? If yes how can I delete the previous ones as I might have 5+ remotes already paired.

    • Every motor has a limit. Can you please reply with the approximate age of your motor and if your original remotes have grey or black coloured buttons?

      • The approximate age is 6 years and the original remote looks like this: http://www.bunnings.com.au/b-d-4-button-tri-tran-garage-door…

        Thanks.

        • Please PM your phone number and I can run through the programming procedure with you if you are home. If not, please press a button on the new remotes and check on the motor if the light next to the code set button begins to flash.

        • @RemotePro:

Thanks for that. Sorry I'm not home at the moment but yes I remember the light begins to flash as soon as button is pressed.

        • +2

@batrarobin: If the light flashes it means it is on the right frequency and it should code in. If you memory is full, try erase the memory by holding the code set button in for 5-8 secs and recode all remotes again.

  • thanks ordered a Marantec compat…

    • Great to hear. Thanks!

  • Hi Michael,

My garage roller door sometimes seems not to go all the way up/down and will go halfway, then reverse its direction. Its speed of movement also seems very slow and laboured sometimes, while other times it's as quick and strong as normal. What do you think is the problem? Thanks!

    • +1

The motor most likely needs a service which generally costs about $80. The installer will reset your force sensitivity and travel limits (which is most likely causing the issue) and also check the tension on your springs which will prolong its life. We supply many garage installers and can recommend one in your area, otherwise any installer will be fine for a basic service.

      • Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely look into that. Michael, why do you reckon the garage door sometimes functions normally if there are issues and not just stay problematic all the time? Smetimes i think it's about to die off completely, then the next day it's bsck to normal.

        • It is a bit difficult to diagnose without looking at the motor. It may be over heating depending on use during that day or there may be debris on the tracks and they require greasing.

  • Do you sell this remote and if so, how much?https://www.google.com.au/search?q=2+button.immobiliser.remotes&client=ms-android-om-lge&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjWq7Ho-qbMAhUJKZQKHdfaALEQ_AUICCgC&biw=360&bih=518#imgrc=ov33dPnEjDcheM%3A
Do you have the instructions to set this up for the car imobiliser and central locking?

    • Hi,

Unfortunately we do not stock this. Sorry I couldn't help further.

      • Your B&D garage remote, is not the red B&D button type?
I have both the middle one and the far right type…..
Presume the remote with the numbered buttons is your own brand?
Is the price 24%off from $17?

        • Yes, that is correct. Provided your remote have black buttons and not grey, our remote will be compatible.

        • @RemotePro:
          So $12.92?

        • @albanyson: Yes, $12.92 for one compatible remote with free shipping :)

  • I currently have a generic remote, when we moved in we weren't given the original one. The model on the remote is PTX-5V1, is this the only remote that will work? https://www.remotepro.com.au/collections/garage-gate-remotes…

    • Yes, that is our compatible remote for the PTX5v1. We only stock one type on our site.

      • Great, thanks for the reply. I assume they're quite easy to program?

        • Yes, very easy to program and instructions are included. Please let me know if you have any questions, as we would be more than happy to assist with any additional queries.

        • @RemotePro: cool, I'll grab a couple after speaking to the rest of the household

  • Hi mate.
We have a house with a B&D roller door that was put in when the house was built 17 years ago. There are no remotes and I have no idea of what they look like other than being a black rectangle.
Are you able to help at all? I am out in the country, but could get my wife to see if there is a model number on the motor tomorrow?
    Thanks very much.

    • +1

All we will require is the model number of the motor and we will be able to direct you to the correct remote.

      • Thanks for the promt reply. I will be in contact as soon as my wife gets that info tomorrow.
        Cheers!

        • Thanks. Look forward to it!

    Thanks OP. Just bought.

  • Hi rep. Do u sell audi key for 2008 a6? Im After plastic case and rubber button bits.

  • Hi, what is the difference between ATA PTX-4 vs PTX-5? It is for a GDO6v4.
Can the program be recoded so any old remotes won't work?

    Thanks!

    • Hi,

The GDO6v4 requires PTX5 remotes. The PTX4 remotes are for older motor models and are not compatible with each other. To erase the motor memory which will remove all remotes please follow the instructions below:

      1. Turn the power off to the motor from the power socket.
      2. Press and hold the Door Code or SW1 button on the motor.
      3. Turn the power back on, whilst still holding the Door Code button. The Door Code LED will illuminate after a few seconds to indicate the memory has been cleared.
      4. Release the Door Code button and test your remote to ensure it has been deleted and it should not operate the door.
      • Ordered. Thanks!

      • Hi, I received the remote but following the instructions to code the remote isn't working. The remote is not opening/closing the garage door, is there something wrong?

        Thanks

Yes, there are a handful of remotes that are cheaper on our eBay store. Also if you are buying more than one remote we have multi packs on our eBay store :)

      • Yes.
        I need 2.

Now looking for a cheap enclosure to replace the damage round plastic thing.

        • +1

There are enclosures available on eBay from other sellers but it is generally more afordable to purchase an aftermarket rather than an enclosure for your genuine remote.

      • Hi,

These are the same remotes we are after. Do you offer any models that go over the sun visor in the car rather than onto key rings?

    • Did you end up with remotepro or the cheaper ones. Look exactly the same to me.

      • The cheaper ones with cashrewards

    • Hi,

Unfortunately we do not stock this remote but we will soon. Sorry I couldn't assist further.

  • Hi anything compatible with the MK127 remote?

  • +1

Thanks Rep - Grabbed a couple of remotes for the Gliderol. ;)

    • Just to update - remotes arrived today (damn that was quick) were super simple to set up with the instruction included in the pack sent. Also a million times better quality then the standard crap that came with the door that I have been having to press multiple times before the freaking door will open.

Thanks again Rep. Happy customer here. :)

  • Do you have remotes compatible with a swift 800 garage door?

    • Unfortunately remotes for this motor have been discontinued. The best option is to add a receiver unit to your motor which allows you to use a different type of remote. Please let me know if you have any questions, as we would be more than happy to assist with any additional queries.

  • hi there, I see the merlin bear claws are sold out - is there an alternate option?
    cheers

  • Hi, I have one of these right now

    GT90-1 genie

What can i replace that with? (it has horrible range)

  • Hello,

We have one of these, which one do I need ? Thank you

    GDO-9 Enduro 2nd Gen

    • Hi,

There are currently no aftermarket remotes for your motor and you must purchase a ptx5v2 remote which has grey buttons. Currently the cheapest place for these is eBay.

  • Thanks Rep, perfect timing. Just bought a new house and previous owner only had one garage door remote. Cheers!

    • If there was a previous owner then it isn't new. Oh, and what are the chances the previous owner secretly still has a remote for the garage door?

      • Always a good idea to erase the motor memory when moving into a new home.

        • yea I know it wasn't a new house ¬_¬ bad choice of word. Thanks for the advice re erasing memory, will get onto that.

  • Hi - I have a GiBiDi remote (70200 - black rectangular, two square red buttons, light between the buttons - like this: http://www.mkey.com.au/images/remote/remote_382_1.jpg). I've seen replacement learning remotes on eBay etc that look similar to ones you have, but you don't specify if they are compatible with the GiBiDi…….

    (e.g https://www.remotepro.com.au/collections/garage-gate-remotes… seems to be like http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Compatible-With-Gibidi-Remote-Con…)

  • Hi Rep, do you have a replacement for the NICE FLO 2, the 10 dipswitch version. I see you have a replacement for the FLO-S, which I think is rolling code, not dipswitches.

    • Unfortunately we do not stock a remote compatible with this remote.

  • Thanks just ordered 2 remotes :)

  • Hi Rep, my garage motor is Model ST50EVOB, and my remote looks like the Merlin+ and Merlin 2+ but without the words printed on it. The remote model is E945.

Do you have a compatible remote for this? Thanks

    • Unfortunately at the moment we do not stock these. We are expecting to stock this model in about a month. Please let me know if you have any questions, as we would be more than happy to assist with any additional queries.

  • Hi Rep,

Our sliding gate was replaced recently and the motor is labeled "That's Right P/L model no LW 550"

We were given 2 remotes which look like Napolean RDO18. However, our garage doors worked with ATA PTX4 remotes.

We now have two different kinds of remotes. If we buy more RDO18s, can that learn the codes of ATA PTX4s or vice versa.

    Thanks

    • +1

Unfortunately not. To match the remotes back up again, you will want to add a PTX4 receiver to your gate which will allow your original PTX4 remotes to operate the gate as well as the garage. Please let me know if you have any questions, as we would be more than happy to assist with any additional queries.

  • Hey Rep,

Which models is the Elsema remote compatible with? Our apartment building has FMT301 remotes, which I believe are compatible with the KEY301 remotes. Will the Elsema compatible remote be suitable?

    Cheers

  • Hi, do you have Chamberlain (Merlin?) remotes for the current series sold at Masters/Bunnings such as the Chamberlain CS100EVO?
